Jurisdica ("we," "our," or "us") provides a professional directory and intelligence platform for legal and accounting AI tools. We respect the privacy of our professional users and are committed to transparency regarding data collection and processing.

2. Data Controller

Jurisdica is operated as an independent publication. The data controller responsible for your personal data is the operator of Jurisdica.pro, located in the Philippines. For all data-related inquiries, contact hello@jurisdica.pro.

3. Information We Collect

A. Professional Identity & Authentication

We use Google OAuth and Supabase Auth to manage user accounts. When you sign in, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture URL. This data is used solely to personalize your experience and manage your access levels.

B. Newsletter & Communication

We use Resend to process and deliver our professional newsletters. If you subscribe, your email address and preferred mode are stored in our database and processed by Resend to provide relevant industry updates.

C. Forms & Submissions

Information provided via our tool submission forms, consulting inquiry forms, and contact forms is stored in our secure Supabase database. This includes firm names, practice sizes, and specific service interests.

D. Payment Data

Payments for fast-track listings, subscriptions, or research reports are handled by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store or process credit card numbers or bank details on our infrastructure.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. With your consent, we also use Google analytics tools to understand platform usage. These tools may collect IP addresses and browser characteristics, but we do not use them to track individuals across third-party websites.

5. Third-Party Links

Our directory contains links to AI vendors. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any tool before uploading sensitive client data.

6. International Users

Jurisdica is operated with a focus on global compliance. Users in the EU, United Kingdom, California, and other jurisdictions may have specific rights regarding data access, deletion, correction, portability, and objection to processing.

7. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area, we process your personal data under the following legal bases: (a) Contract: processing necessary to provide our directory services when you create an account or subscribe; (b) Legitimate Interest: analytics and platform improvement; (c) Consent: newsletter communications, which you may withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.

8. Data Retention

We retain account data for the duration of your account plus 90 days after deletion. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe plus 30 days. Payment records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance purposes. Tool submission data is retained for the duration of the listing plus 12 months.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to processing; request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@jurisdica.pro. We will respond within 30 days. EU users have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

10. International Data Transfers

Jurisdica uses US-based third-party processors including Supabase, Resend, and Lemon Squeezy. Data transfers from the EEA to these processors are conducted under Standard Contractual Clauses as approved by the European Commission. Details of these arrangements are available on request.
